What we collect and why

• Banana account (random ID, banana name, coins, items, trophies) — to provide the game (contract).
• Email, if you save your banana — to let you sign in and recover it (contract).
• Visits to your link: a scrambled (hashed) visitor ID and IP address plus browser type — to count real visitors and stop cheating (legitimate interest).
• Texts you write for the AI share text — sent to an AI provider to generate your text (contract).
• Purchase records — to deliver what you bought (contract, legal obligation).

Who we share with

Hosting and database providers, an AI text provider, Paddle (Merchant of Record) for sales, payments, tax and invoicing, professional advisers, and authorities when required by law. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long

We keep your data while your banana exists. Visit logs are kept only as long as needed for anti-cheat. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Data is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Email bananasupp@outlook.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Security & storage

We use encryption in transit and access controls. Your banana session is stored in your browser's local storage — this is essential for the game; we use no advertising cookies.
